Scimitar employs two professional, BFA qualified coaches.

Ian Williams

During his competitive career Ian topped the British Mens Senior Sabre rankings eight times during the period 1989-1998. He represented Great Britain at 3 Junior World Championships, 9 Senior World Championships and the 1992 Olympic Games. A number of Ian's students have won National honors and represented Great Britain on the World Cup circuit and at major championships. He is a former Senior National Sabre Coach for both men and women. Ian is also Head Coach at Camden Fencing Club, which is a community based club for children, in Tufnell Park www.camdenfencingclub.org.uk.
